Relocation of Smithfield,New Spitalfields and Billingsgate Markets
Redbridge Council are in talks with the City of London Corporation to relocate all the above markets to Fairlop Waters. The London Borough of Redbridge has identified land between Forest Road and Billet Road in Fairlop as being a potential site for the markets to relocate to. I don't think local residents will be too happy about this
