Location: Johnston’s Coppice, Purbrook Way
On Sunday we will remove the litter that has accumulated along the bank on the edge of Johnston’s Coppice in Purbrook Way.
During 2015/16 we organised four litter picks here and collected 196 bags of litter plus numerous other items, including a kitchen sink (see photos). Litter is building up again, so it is time for a return visit.
We can provide gloves, rubbish sacks and litter-pickers. If you have already been issued with a litter-picker, would you please bring it along.
Meet in the gateway next to the bus stop in Purbrook Way (opposite College Road) at 8.30am.
Boots or stout shoes are recommended.
