One night stand tours
Did you go to those one night stand tours in the 60s with multiple stars in the show? If so, which was the first? For me, it was at Woolwich Granada in 1963 where Roy Orbison topped the bill but the Beatles closed the show because of the screaming which they didn't want continuing into Roy's act. Gerry and the Pacemakers closed the first half. The Beatles sang three songs - you could only hear what they were singing by holding your nose and blowing it. I picked out I saw her standing there and Twist and shout.
