It’s Deafember and we are starting our Sign it Forward Campaign!
1 in 6 people in the UK are living with hearing loss and 145,000 people use British Sign Language.
Learning to fingerspell the alphabet in British Sign Language is one way of enabling us all to better communicate with each other.
The Jewish Deaf Association supports all people with hearing loss and by Signing It Forward you can make a difference.
Here is how:
1. Learn to fingerspell the alphabet in British Sign Language: see our video below
2. Sign it Forward by teaching 1 or more of your family, friends or colleagues and click https://lnkd.in/ezpMXXh to donate £5 to the JDA
3. Don’t forget to ask them to Sign it Forward, donate and pass it on!
