    I've just received a scam text/call!

    Answering a call from an unknown number can add your number to a list that is sold by scammers. So, by answering the call, you have just signed up for others, and It also provides a recording of your voice to be used by AI. Leave your answering machine/service to deal with it; scammers/salesmen do not leave a message. If you are worried that it could be a valid caller that has not left a message, then check with the service in the comment below.

Post scams of any type. If it is not from personal experience, check its veracity if you can; Snopes.com is a good reference. I shall be posting IT scams as I become aware of them, and you of course, can do the same.
