End Date: 09.09.2022. End Time: 22:00

Location: The Manor, Slough Railway Station, Brunel Way, Slough

Slough & Windsor Railway Society meeting:

To the north west of Slough, on the border between Berks and Bucks, Burnham and Taplow, on the banks of the River Thames, lies a country house and estate that has played a major role in the history of this country.

When Frank is not on duty as SWRS Secretary he spends his time as one of the Volunteer National Trust Historians at the Cliveden Estate.

Tonight, the 350+ years of the Mansion estate will be explained. A place known for Power, Politics and Passion with a little bit of scandal. The talk will cover the history from the beginning up to the current day.

    All are welcome.

    See you there!

Please see website (www.swrs.co.uk) for location and further information, including admission prices and parking charges at the station car park. (There is no post code for our meeting place, but the website has detailed guidance!)

Remember that The Manor is easy to reach by train or bus, and is but a short walk from the town centre car parks.
