Location: All Saints Church, Haggerston
The annual service in which clowns, dressed in full costume, gather to honour the king of the clowns, Joseph Grimaldi (1778-1837), will once again take place in the All Saints Church in Haggerston. This temporary venue is larger than their usual haunt but it's still best to arrive early – many Grimaldi fans and clown admirers usually show, too, up so the pews will no doubt be packed.
