All movements are recommended by the NHS and are led by Suzy Hawker a qualified PT specialising in adapting exercise for independently active older adults. Earlier this year, funded by Brighton and Hove Council, Suzy qualified as an Otago Leader to increase local support for those at risk of falling. What's Otago? The Otago exercise programme is designed specifically to prevent falls. It consists of a set of leg muscle strengthening, balance retraining exercises (progressing in difficulty) and a walking plan..
