Taken from a Hornchurch Facebook Group...
PLEASE BE AWAREI have just received a call from ‘the board of gas and electricity’ saying we need to change our meter within a week or our gas will be cut off. Apparently this is all of Hornchurch.
I have spoke to British Gas who has confirmed this is a scam, please pass the message on to our elderly and venerable
