The Boathouse Cafe and Bar at 80 Abbey Road upstairs behind Nisa Local in Barking is holding another free fun family music quiz this Saturday 25th May 2019 starting at 7.00 pm until 11.00pm. So get there nice and early for the best tables.
Music will cover many genres from the 1960s to the present day.
Teams of one to six adults can take part. Older children and well-behaved dogs are more than welcome. So bring the whole family.
Delicious food and tasty cocktails will also be served with a fantastic prize of wine for the winning team and a nice booby prize of chocolates for the losers.
You can double your score by playing your joker on what you believe to be your strongest round.
The Boathouse is a lovely scenic bar and cafe with an outside terrace overlooking the boats and barges on the River Roding.
There is disabled parking, toilets and lifts for those that need them. Call 07967 044282 on arrival.
If coming by public transport ... Go to Barking Station and cross the road. Take bus 62 to Gascoigne Primary School. Cross the road at the zebra crossing 100 metres past the bus stop and turn left down the Shaftsbury's. After 3 or 4 minutes you will reach Abbey Road. Turn Right and walk for 50 metres until you see the Nisa Local Convenience Store. The Boathouse is behind that up the outside stairs in the corner of the Car Park.
