Location: Streatham Park Bowling Club, Pringle Gardens, Off Ullathorne Road
Streatham Park Bowling Club are holding a FREE Short Mat Bowls Course for 6 weeks starting on Saturday, 2nd February 10 -12 pm.
Come on your own, with a friend or as a group!
We play in a heated marquee with all equipment provided. You can be assured of a warm welcome and all the help you need to understand the game.
Short mat bowls is based on the outdoor sport of lawn bowls so many of the rules are adaptations of the rules of the outdoor game with the basic aim being to deliver as many woods (bowls) as possible nearer to the smaller target bowl (the jack) than any of the opposition’s woods.
One of the great attractions of short mat bowls is that all ages can learn to play it. Don’t just sit indoors, come and see for yourself! (Under 16's to be accompanied by an adult)
