Foodbank Donations urgently needed
FOODBANK AND LUNCH CLUB FOR THE ELDERLY AND VULNERABLE URGENTLY NEED DONATIONS
Can you lovely people help....
Commonside Community Trust which provides daily lunch club meals for the elderly and vulnerable and is an outlet for Wimbledon food bank urgently needs donations of the following items: -
Cans of Soup, Beans/spaghetti in sauce, tomatoes and pasta sauce
Rice pudding and custard
Tea and coffee and sugar, and packets of biscuits
Long-life juice/ squash
Ketchup and other bottled sauces
Jam
Instant Mash
Chocolate/ snacks
Cereal
Pasta, rice and noodles
Plus fresh fruit and vegetables
We have arranged the following DROP off points
Heaver Estate - on Saturday, 25 April, between 11am and 1pm at 24 Manville Road
Furzedown – on Monday, 27 April between 12 noon and 2pm at Café De Niro, 111 Moyser Road
Tooting Bec – on Wednesday, 29 April between 12 noon and 2pm at Costa’s Café, 2 Tooting Bec Road (by the tube station)
May dates and locations to follow.
Or if you prefer, you can ORGANISE your own collection from your street. Just DM me with your details and we will get posters to you and we will sort out collection from you.
The lunch club for the elderly needs to buy fresh ingredients so please DONATE money to Commonside directly. All donations are gladly received no matter how small. https://commonside.net/donate/
