Celebrating the rich musical heritage of the area, acts announced for 2017 include the visionary saxophonist Courtney Pine CBE featuring neo-soul pioneer Omar MBE, Ghanaian guitarist and producer-come-arranger Ebo Taylor and 12-piece afrobeat, dub and jazz collective Nubiyan Twist.
Founded in 1984, the Ealing Jazz Festival has been a mainstay of the borough’s summertime calendar for over 30 years, with last year’s event drawing in nearly 10,000 festival-goers. With its strongest line-up to date, 2017 promises to be another memorable installment in the festival’s colourful history.
