Drivers: please be aware of cyclists!!
Hi everyone, I'm just posting this to raise awareness for cyclists and drivers and to help avoid near-misses. This morning a driver scared me and caused me to brake and stop when I was cycling in a bus lane. The driver showed no signs of slowing down or of having seen me (despite wearing a hi-vis jacket) as they drove at speed down one of the side roads to turn off. If I hadn't been wearing my hi-vis jacket and I hadn't spotted the car driving fast over the junction line I think it would have driven into me. Please (!) slow down at junctions if a cyclist is approaching and has right of way.
