Charities collecting on the doorstep
Has anyone ever successfully donated or set up a direct debit to a charity via a worker who knocks on your door? One came around last night, I politely said "no thanks". I couldn't help thinking that he could be anyone with a charity T-Shirt on, asking for my bank details. How can you tell the difference between the genuine and the scammers?
