Join us for the launch of Biking Riverside On Thursday 3rd August! Everyone welcome at the launch – with or without a bike!

This FREE public event will run from 3pm – 8pm at The Rivergate Centre, Minter Road IG11 0FJ.

Activities will include cycling stunt performances and a chance to hop on a novelty bike* – including Monkey Bikes, Recumbent and Tandem bikes - for a led ride.

A whole host of activities for all the family will be run by Triangoals – including kids fitness classes, sensory room and beauty treatments for parents. There will also be music, food stalls and a bouncy castle for the children to enjoy.

Biking Riverside is a new exciting ‘cycle hub’ located next to The Rivergate Centre, which will offer a range of services run by Vandome Cycles and Sustrans to help get Barking cycling. Supported by the L&Q foundation and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, the hub will offer a wide range of lessons, cycle instructor courses, workshops, social rides and a range of other initiatives. The hub will be open for drop-ins from August 2017 – further details to follow.

*Novelty bike rides will be offered on a first come first served basis. Participants must be over 8 years of age, and parents must be present to sign consent forms for under 18s. Height restrictions will apply.
