I found myself watching this on Channel 4 at about 10 pm today - as it followed on from Meat the Family (where people have farm animals to look after at home, then decide their fate - more like meet your dinner).
There were some fascinating predictions about future food production. Basically, we've pretty much ruined soil fertility on many farms so, with the prospect of mass starvation within a century, at last serious attention has turned to lab-grown meat and factory cultured bacteria/yeast as a way of producing protein and substituting much grain. We'd only need farmland for fruit and veg!
