Tootsmas Christmas Craft Workshop
As part of Tootsmas we are delighted to be hosting Sue Kibby, a member of Carousel Textile Artists to lead a fascinating festive craft workshop. Sue has been making things out of preused items for many years and loves encouraging people to make beautiful things with what they have to hand, that would otherwise be thrown away.
Sue’s passion is passing on new and traditional upcycling ideas to others, so we’ll be knitting vases, scarves and Christmassy decorations from plastic bags and old T shirts and sewing a mini Christmas Tree. And she says she can teach anyone to knit from scratch. So, don’t let your inability to knit put you off joining us. Unlike many workshops, the focus is on less not more and care rather than speed. All materials provided.

Time: 10:30 and 13:30
Cost: £4 donation to the charity
The venue is accessible for wheel chairs and the workshop is open to all.
